Worship and Reflection
Sunday Morning Worship is held at 10:00 a.m. Nursery care is provided for children five and younger.
Communion is celebrated during worship the first Sunday of each month, and during visitations upon request.
The Otis A. Thompson Chapel is open for private meditation throughout the week (Currently by appointment only.)
Seasonal Services, Joint Services and Ecumenical Services are a regular part of the yearly cycle.
Daily Devotional Guides, These Days and The Upper Room, are available in the church entryway in regular or large print.
Learning and Spiritual Growth
Church School for grades 3 through 8 is held Sundays part-way through the worship service.
Seasonal Series – Opportunities for education and community are often provided during appropriate times in the church year.
Church Library containing theological and spiritual works is available, as well as videos and DVDs.
Family Counseling Ministry is available with counselor Joanne Ferguson, M.S, C.A.S.
Community Fellowship
Coffee Hour – The community gathers for coffee, snacks and conversation after worship every Sunday in the Founders’ Room. (Coffee hour is suspended at this time due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.)
Knitting Ministry meets every other Monday in the Chapel from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Prayer Circle meets on Zoom weekly on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Service
Choir practices Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Handbell Choir rehearses on Sundays and plays during worship several times during the year.
Thanksgiving Baskets are assembled and given to over 100 needy families each year, under the direction of the Missions Committee.
Our Daily Bread Food Closet in Norwich is supported by the church through donations and volunteers from the congregation.
We offer Scholarships for graduating high school seniors and college students.

The congregation gives financial support to a number of service activities in the community and around the world. In addition, many of our members volunteer their time and labor at The Place and other community projects.
